Has the full Playrooms game launched?

The full-game Steam listing still showed Coming soon when checked on November 2, 2026. This is the Two Pixels UG game, App 5037510. Its free demo is a separate product, App 5246850; demo availability is not proof of a full release.

The live storefront can change after this check. Use its purchase or availability section, alongside a newer developer announcement, when deciding whether the full game is ready.

What do the official delay announcements establish?

The developers said on October 28 that the game was finished but Steam’s final review was incomplete, so that day’s launch could not happen. Their October 30 follow-up still reported no approval and explicitly declined to give a fixed replacement date.

The October 30 post expected roughly the middle of the following week and said release would not occur before Monday. It also made clear that this was an estimate. Do not turn that relative estimate into a fixed countdown or reuse the superseded October 28 date.

What can you play and prepare now?

The demo lets you try the collection loop and currently includes Cozy, Normal and Hardcore mode choices. Use the beginner guide for depositing balls and reading upgrade information, and check the PC requirements before installing.

Demo-to-full save transfer and Steam Cloud should be checked separately from the launch date. The save reference records the developer’s statements and their dates, without treating a planned launch feature as an already-tested demo function.

How can you receive a release notification?

Wishlist the full-game Steam entry. The developers recommend that route in both delay notices so Steam can notify you when it goes live. Continue using the full-game listing for release news rather than treating an update to the demo as a launch announcement.
